
Y’all… Japanese Water Therapy is intense and I couldn’t do it.
One source I read stated that I needed to drink an enormous amount of water throughout the day. Other sources suggest drinking certain amounts on schedule and helpful guidelines to follow along.
Example; drink 22 oz. of water when you first wake up. Don’t eat for 1 hr.
My body and the way I choose to eat (small meals whenever I feel hungry) doesn’t allow me to fill up on water like this. I don’t like to hear it sloshing around in my gut.
That being said, I am passionate about drinking water and do so as often as possible, especially when I first greet the day. I judge my needs simply by taking note when I feel thirsty, just being mindful. Once you feel thirst, your body is already begining to dehydrate. Listen to your body!
