Today I want to talk about wrinkles.
Why, you may ask?
Because we’re all getting older everyday, but really EVERY MINUTE.. and nothing says that more clearly than the wrinkles on our bodies.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Ultimately, our faces tell a story of the life we’ve endured so far.

Why do we get them?
Emotions play out on your face non-stop. I’ve had crow’s feet since I was 18 because I used to pull my eyelids to the side when dragging eyeliner on them. I smile a lot when I’m feeling my typical sunny disposition. On the other hand, I also cry a lot because I’m an Empath and feel intense, overwhelming emotions from the energy of everything in my day.
Certain wrinkles are hereditary. If you look at your family members, you may have the vertical lines betwixt your brows when you’re upset or thinking hard. Or, you have the horizontal forehead wrinkles that often come with joy and surprise.
Maybe it’s just that bloodlines carry both…? Then your wrinkles would be determined by emotional expression, environmental toxins and amount of sleep/water you get.
Do you ever catch a glance of yourself in the mirror and wonder who tf is that saggy bag staring back at you?
Go drink a glass of water before you judge too harshly. Hydration plumps your skin up (because ALL of our cells need H2O). I sometimes feel like people think more about their internal organs, but don’t forget that skin is the largest organ of them all!!

Don’t let media images fool you into thinking that only “the beautiful people” have flawless skin. Everything is edited nowadays, look to the real life examples of people you admire.
They have wrinkles too.
